ABOUT BREEZE

 

BREEZE® is an Energy Recovery Ventilator manufactured by
RenewAire LLC. Energy recovery ventilation (ERV) is the technology which completes the HVAC system in your apartment, condominium or single-family home. BREEZE exhausts pollutants and excess moisture to the outside, efficiently recovers heat from the exhaust stream during cold weather, and pre-cools and pre-dehumidifies incoming air during hot, muggy weather. This means better indoor air quality (IAQ) for your family and less risk of moisture-related damage to your home.

The key to BREEZE's extraordinary performance is our renowned static-plate exchange core. Exhaust and outside air streams cross paths in the core, transferring both heat and moisture in the process. Because moisture is transferred in a gaseous state, no liquid water accumulates which means that no drain or condensate pan is required. No condensation also means that no defrost mechanism is needed for cold weather operation in most cases.

What sets BREEZE apart from all other residential products however, is the unique design which allows installation in less than half the time required for other air-to-air heat exchangers. This important feature – plus a selection of equipment perfectly sized for residences under 2500 sq. ft. – means that for the first time, the proven benefits of fresh air ventilation are as affordable as they are necessary!

All Breeze units are built at our factory in Madison, Wisconsin, where RenewAire has been producing ERVs since 1983.
